Trans-forming Trans-missions 跨镜 is a programme of films by trans and non-binary filmmakers based in the UK and from Mainland China. The programme is curated by a pair of trans and non-binary filmmakers across both countries, with works selected from an Open Call process. It is structured as a series of duets between two films, one from each country. These films ask: How does being trans feel like today? What is the relationship between the Internet and trans embodiment? How can we build worlds from a trans perspective?

This physical event is fundraiser, with all proceeds split between Queercare and Trans Well-being Team 跨儿心理小组. Queercare is a transfeminist UK-based community care organisation, and Trans Well-being Team 跨儿心理小组 is an organisation in Guangzhou, China that centres the mental health of trans people.
